17 March 2010 → World Bank delegation visiting Minsk on 17-19 March

World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Philippe Le Houerou is the head of the delegation that is visiting Minsk on 17-19 March, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA.

Members of the World Bank delegation are expected to hold meetings with representatives of the Belarus President Administration, the Council of Ministers, and the National Bank in order to discuss cooperation with the World Bank in view of the economic reforms, which are going on in Belarus.

There are also plans to hold a joint seminar “Belarus: tapping into the sustainable growth potential through structural reforms”. Belarus Vice Premier Andrei Kobyakov and top officials of interested Belarusian government agencies are expected to participate in the seminar.
