17 May 2010 → Minsk hosts session of Saxony-Belarus Business Council
Representatives of 12 German companies are taking part in a session of the Saxony-Belarus Business Council which is being held in Minsk on 17 May, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A delegation of the Saxonic business circles is led by President of the Leipzig Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wolfgang Topf. The German delegation includes representatives of the Leipzig Fair, LBBW Bank, specialists engaged in production of vacuum technique, companies which provide support for small-sized companies.
On 17 May, a business matchmaking session for the Belarusian and German businessmen, presentations of Belarusian companies Technochance, Fortex-Water Technologies, Bellesizdelie will be held. The Saxonic guests are expected to visit the Belarusian Autoworks (BELAZ).
The Saxony-Belarus Business Council was founded in December 2009 by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Leipzig Chamber of Commerce and Industry in line with Belarus Council of Ministers’ resolution. Its main goal is promotion of economic contacts between Saxonic and Belarusian companies.
