17 May 2010 → Lesdrevtech 2010 expo in Minsk to present new logging technologies
New logging technologies will be displayed at the 11th international specialized exhibition Lesdrevtech 2010 that is to open at the pavilion of the BelExpo National Center (14 Pobeditelei Avenue) in Minsk on 18 May, BelTA learnt from the organizing committee of the exhibition.
Over 80 firms and companies from ten European countries along with the national leading forestry and logging producers are set to partake in the forum. The sector of bio-energy and energy saving technologies will be widely presented at the expo.
Innovation development will be the expo’s major theme. The program of the forum will include two international conferences: “Investment and innovations in Belarus’ forestry area” and “Sustainable and rational forest management”, practical forestry and logging sections, presentation of the advanced equipment.
The exhibition will cater for both the professionals and individuals. The organizers have prepared a big trade fair of the goods made by the forestry companies. The best woodcutters will compete at the Timber Show on 19 May.
The expo will stay open till 21 May.
