JSC "Minsk Automobile Plant" will take part in the 11-th International Specialized Exhibition "Commercial Motor Transport ComTrans 2011", which will be held from 13 to 17 September in the International Exhibition Centre "Crocus Expo" in Moscow.
According to the information provided to the "Minsk-News" Agency correspondent in the JSC "MAZ" press center, the metropolitan enterprise is going to present its new machines – artic with front layout of the engine MAZ-6440PA, artic MAZ-5440B9, high-sided truck MAZ-4371W1, dump truck MAZ- 6501W6 and bus MAZ 241.
ComTrans exhibition is one of the most significant events in the world of commercial vehicles. It is chosen by the world's leading manufacturers of trucks, passenger, trailers and special vehicles to present their latest developments.
It should be noted that JSC "MAZ" is constantly working to expand its lineup. Now they are completing the development of a full line of vehicles of Euro-4. Thus, in Moscow they are going to present an artic equipped with a new engine YMZ-651.10 of ecological standard Euro-4. Since the end of 2011 consumers will also be offered MAZ vehicles equipped with engines "Cummins". The two vehicles to be exhibited (high-sided truck -4371W1 MAZ and dump truck MAZ-6501W6), as well as a bus MAZ 241 are equipped with these engines.
A new stage in the development of the Minsk Automobile Plant was the creation of a car bonnet with the layout of the MAZ-6440PA. This model has an organic combination of not only domestic advanced technologies but also international automobile industry.
A broad variety of MAZ vehicles is accounted for by broad geography of supplies - more than 50 countries. In addition to the traditional foreign markets, where there is strong growth in sales of MAZ, such as Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Georgia, the plant strengthens its positions in markets abroad.
Today there are 7 successful assembly plants: in Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Vietnam and Iran. The construction of a plant to produce up to 5,000 units of MAZ trucks a year is carried on in Venezuela.
A broad variety of lineup of MAZ vehicles, a significant improvement in their quality and good servicing have led to an increase in sales volume by 150% over the same period last year.
