A team of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics won for the first time at the VII International Student Programming Olympiad KPI-Open 2012 which took place in Kiev.
According to Alena Sokolovskaya, BSUIR Press Secretary, University students Aleksey Ropan, Igor Brukov and Daniel Berezhnov were able to beat the competitors of five teams in the final of the intellectual competition.
This year the tournament was attended by 77 teams from Russia, Belarus, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
