16 March 2017 → Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk
The Chairman of the Majilis (lower house) of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin laid a wreath to the Eternal Flame near the Victory Monument on March 16, the "Minsk-News" agency reports.
In Victory Square the Chairman of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin and members of the parliamentary delegation of Kazakhstan were met by the Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies Vasily Panasyuk.
The ceremony participants laid a wreath and flowers to the Eternal Flame at the base of the obelisk and honored the memory of the fallen during the Great Patriotic War.
From 15 to 17 March the parliamentary delegation of Kazakhstan headed by the Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament Nurlan Nigmatulin is on an official visit to Belarus. In particular, during the visit the delegation is going to have meetings with the leaders of the chambers of the National Assembly of Belarus and visit some socio-cultural sites and enterprises.
