20 April 2017 → Delegation of Nizhny Novgorod Region of Russia laid a wreath to the Victory Monument

A delegation of Nizhny Novgorod Region of the Russian Federation laid a wreath to the Victory Monument and flowers to the Eternal Flame on April 20, the “Minsk-Novosti” Agency correspondent reports.

The delegation was headed by the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Valery Shantsev, who was in Minsk on a working visit.

In Victory Square the Russian guests were met by Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Igor Yurkevich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Alexander Surikov.

On April 20, Valery Shantsev is going to have a meeting with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, as well as with the Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Alexander Surikov. Besides, the delegation of Nizhny Novgorod Region will visit OJSC "Belcommunmash” Holding Management Company" and get acquainted with the work of the enterprise. The delegation will also take part in the meeting of the Business Cooperation Council of Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Republic of Belarus.
