01 March 2017 → Georgian President visited the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and "Minsk-Arena"
On March 1, President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili visited the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War, the "Minsk-news" agency reports.
The distinguished guests familiarized with the exposition of the Museum. Being interested in many exhibits of the Museum, the President asked the guide a lot of questions of clarification. This was especially true of objects that tell the story of the heroism of the Georgians in the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders.
At the end of the tour, the Georgian leader wrote in the guest book: "Eternal glory to the heroes who, at the cost of their lives saved humanity from the greatest trouble. We as well as future generations will always remember and honor their names".
Later on the delegation visited the multifunctional cultural and sports complex "Minsk-Arena". There President familiarized with the structures of the complex and talked to its director general Nikolai Ananiev.
