"It's so nice that on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian police and the 950th anniversary of Minsk the city has received such a gift - it can become a symbol and a landmark for its residents".

According to the employees of the museum, during the renovation the building received its original appearance. Previously, it was a residential two-story house built in 1914. A most interesting feature is that the building was completely preserved during the Great Patriotic War because in its construction special technologies were used that made the building resistant to destruction.

Making a tour of the museum one can learn about the history of the law enforcement system in Belarus from antiquity to the present day.

So, for example, in one of its rooms you will be told that in former times there were special inspectors that kept a vigilant watch over the observance of laws, who simultaneously performed several functions – reminding of the modern district militia officer, notary, judge, postman, and others.
