29 June 2017 → Estonians will bring rare buses of Soviet times to Minsk

Representatives of the Estonian transport company will demonstrate rare buses to the citizens of Minsk and guests of the city, the "Minsk-Novosti" agency correspondent was told at the State Institution "Metropolitan Transport and Communications".

These retro-buses will take part in the Tallinn-Minsk-Tallinn motor rally dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Estonia and Belarus. It will be held from June 29 to July 1.

"The event will be held on the initiative of the Estonian transport company "Luxe Express" with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Estonia and the assistance of the Minsk City Executive Committee," said Kirill Sinyutich, Deputy Head of the Passenger Transportation Department of the State Institution "Metropolitan Transport and Communications". "Buses of rare preserved models "ZIS-127", "Ikarus-55", "Ikarus Lux", "Ikarus-255" will take part in the rally," he added.

On July 1 they are planning to arrange an exhibition of the buses that will arrive in Minsk from Estonia in the Upper City. All 5 vehicles will be open to viewers.
