05 July 2017 → The festival “Classics at the Town Hall with VELCOM” to open with mass Self

The third season of "Classics at the Town Hall with VELCOM" will open with mass Self, the organizers of the event told the "Minsk-Novosti" Agency.

The first concert of the Festival will be held on July 8 and will begin at 20:30 on the stage near the concert hall “Upper City”. The concert will be opened by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the direction of maestro Alexander Anisimov. This year the Orchestra celebrates its 90th anniversary. Mass self is going to be organized at the very beginning of the program, which hasn’t been done at previous concerts.

The photo will be created with the participation of both the Symphony Orchestra with its Maestro and the guests of the Festival. Each viewer will have a chance to be photographed with celebrities. Also, Self will be accompanied by additional surveys from different angles, including using 360 ° cameras.

And then everything will go on according to the program - a gala concert in which the best compositions of symphonic and opera music will be performed by the Orchestra and invited soloists: Oksana Volkova (mezzo-soprano, Belarus), Christian Benedikta (tenor, Lithuania), Irina Krikunova (soprano, Russia).
