22 September 2009 → Volunteers from Baltic states and Denmark to take part in Minsk youth forumVolunteers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Denmark will take part in the international forum “Volunteer Work and Society” in Minsk, Irena Dyl, head of the youth affairs department of the Belarusian Education Ministry, told a press conference in Minsk on 21 September. The forum has been organized in line with the joint project of the Association of Belarusian Guides and the Association of Guides and Scouts of Denmark. The event will be held in the Johannes Rau International Educational Center in Minsk on 25-27 September. Attending the forum are expected to be 60 representatives of the public organizations of Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Denmark. During the forum, volunteers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Denmark, representatives of various children, youth and public organizations of Belarus will share experience of the volunteer work, its role in development of the society. On 26 September, the official open session of the forum will be held. Its program includes a presentation of the International Exchange Project, opening an exhibition of public organizations of Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Denmark.
