24 September 2009 → Belavia cuts prices for flights to Rome, Milan, FrankfurtThe national airline Belavia has launched an Autumn Tariffs action that envisages reduced prices for flights to Rome, Milan and Frankfurt, BelTA learnt from the company. Concessionary tickets will be valid during the period from 30 November 2009 up to 31 March 2010 (except the flights from 1 December 2009 to 15 January 2010). Minsk-Rome and Minsk-Milan return flights would cost ?210 and flights to Frankfurt will equal ?199 (airport duties are not included). The number of tickets is limited. There are discounts for children: a 25% discount for children under twelve and up to 90% discount for children under two. The Belavia national air company was founded in 1996. Belavia holds around 65% of the Belarusian market of air transportation of passengers. It operates regular flights to thirty destinations in nineteen countries. The company complies with the international security standards. In 2008 Belavia obtained a certificate of the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).
