26 January 2010 → Belarus, Moldova mull over Minsk-Chisinau direct flight

Belarus and Moldova are looking into an opportunity of resuming the Minsk-Chisinau direct flight, BelTA learnt from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Moldova Vyacheslav Osipenko.

According to the diplomat, the issue was discussed at a meeting with Transport and Road Economy Minister of Moldova Anatoly Shalaru. The issue is set to be considered at the next session of the intergovernmental Belarus-Moldova commission for trade and economic cooperation in Minsk in mid February.

Vyacheslav Osipenko stressed that the direct flight Minsk-Chisinau will promote the trade relations between the two countries, intensify business contacts.
