15 May 2010 → Minsk to host Lesdrevtech 2010 exhibition 18-21 May
Nearly 80 companies from the European countries are set to partake in the 11th specialized international exhibition Lesdrevtech 2010 in Minsk on 18-21 May, BelTA learnt from the organizing committee of the exhibition.
Specialists from Belarus, Russia, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Slovenia and Poland will be able to get familiar with the novelties of the world’s leading producers of the forestry and logging equipment. “It, first of all, concerns Belarus’ representative offices of such companies as Ledinek Engineering, Mebor (Slovenia), Serra Maschinenbau, Weinig Gruppe, Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG (Germany), Wood-Mizer (Poland), Husqvarna (Sweden) and others. A section of refuse wood processing and the use of local fuels will be presented by the permanent participants of the exhibition: RMP, SIA (Latvia), UMP, JSC (Lithuania), Polytechnik (Austria), the Chistota Linii and Bioenergetika companies”.
According to head of the exhibition Yevgeny Kireyenkov, a wide business program includes a demonstration of new forestry developments and technologies. The exhibition will cater for both the professionals and individuals. A big part of the forum will be dedicated to the wooden housing. “Wooden house building is one of the primary businesses of the National Wood and Paper Association, one of the organizers of the exhibition. The companies subordinate to the association will display a wide range of proposals,” Yevgeny Kireyenkov said. Besides, the companies of the Association of Woodworking and Furniture Companies of Belarus will feature their products for the first time.
The best woodcutters will compete at the Minsk state forestry association. Partaking in the tournament will be the teams of the forestry ministries and departments of Belarus. The program will also include the Forwarder and Harvester Shows.
The international specialized exhibition Lesdrevtech 2010 will take place in Minsk at the pavilion of the BelExpo National Center (14 Pobeditelei Avenue) on 18-21 May. The exhibition is organized by the BelExpo center of the Property Management Directorate of the President of Belarus under the auspices of the Forestry, Industry, Utilities Ministries, the National Academy of Sciences, the department for energy efficiency of the State Standardization Committee, the Bellesbumprom Concern, the National Wood and Paper Association, the Association of Woodworking and Furniture Companies of Belarus.
