24 June 2010 → Minsk hosting 5th CIS forum of law firms
Over 130 heads of the firms from the CIS, Europe, America and Asia are taking part in the 5th CIS forum of law firms. The forum is taking place in Minsk on 23-26 June, BelTA learnt from the organizers of the forum.
The programme of the forum includes a Belarusian section on the opportunities for foreign investors in Belarus and privatization prospects in the country.
The forum is a unique platform for communication. Representatives of the CIS international and regional law business have an opportunity to meet, exchange experience and establish partnership.
The first meeting was organized by the Ukrainian law group in 2006. Since then the forum has turned into an informal club of managers and chief partners of the leading law firms of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
The forum gathers representatives of the best law firms of the CIS and international law firms all over the world, corporate lawyers of the leading international companies. The previous forums showed a colossal need in communication and business exchange between the CIS law firms as well as a great interest of the international law community in the region.
