11 August 2010 → Minsk to host first leg of International Handball League

The first leg of the International Handball League featuring six teams from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine starts in Minsk on August 11, BelTA has learnt.

Belarus will be represented by the two-time national champion, Minsk Dinamo, and the country’s most winning SKA Club. SKA will play Kaustik from Volgograd (17h00) and Dinamo will meet with Portovik from Yuzhny (19h00). The tournament will open with a match between ZTR from Zaporozhie and Krasnodar SKIF (15h00). The matches will be held at the Republican Center of Olympic Reserve and the Minsk Sports Palace.

The second leg will be held in Ukraine in January and the third one – in Russia in spring.
