Department of Energy is a structural unit of the Minsk City Executive Committee regulating government policy in the development of fuel and energy sector of the city and in the sphere of energy saving.

The activities of the department are carried out in collaboration with other committees, departments and divisions of the Executive Committee, district administrations, units of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus (“MINSKENERGO” Republican Unitary Enterprise, “MINGAS” Republican Unitary Enterprise), the Energy Efficiency Department of the State Standardization Committee of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk city administration for the supervision of the rational use of energy resources).
