Savanovich Mikhail Fedorovich
Chairman of the Council
Born in 1955 in the village of Dalniye Bondari, Slutsk district, Minsk region.
In 1977 he graduated from the Belarusian Technological Institute named after S.M. Kirov with specialty of mechanical engineering in wood industry.
After graduation, from 1977 to 1978 he worked as an engineer, senior engineer of the Applied-research laboratory of ultrasound in the Belarusian Technological Institute named after S.M. Kirov.
In 1978-1987 he worked in the headquarters of the Ministry of Housing of the BSSR: first as a senior engineer of the Technical Department, and then as a leading engineer of the Public Services Department.
In 1987 - Deputy Director of Housing Repair and Maintenance Association of the Moscow District of the city of Minsk, and in 1988 he was appointed Instructor of the Ideological Department of the Moscow District Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus.
In 1990 - 1992 - Deputy Director of the Minsk Regional Association of Technical Inventory, and then, until 1995 he worked in commercial organizations: Director of LLC "NOROK", Director of LLC "KaSaKo."
In 1995 - 1997 - Head of the Organization Department of the Moscow District Executive Committee of Minsk, Head of the Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Moscow District Administration of Minsk.
In 1997 - 1998 - Advisor at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
In 1998 he was appointed Deputy Chief of the Cabinet - Head of the Division of Organizational and Personnel Work, in 2000 - Head of the Department of Organizational and Personnel Work, and in 2003 – Chief of the Cabinet of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
In 2001 he was awarded the medal "For Labour Merits"; in 2003 he was distinguished by the President of the Republic of Belarus; in 2005 he was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
Married. Has two grown-up sons.
