The Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Fuel Trust of Minsk City Executive Committee” was founded on October 29, 1931 (extract from Minutes of the meeting of the presidium of the Minsk Region Executive Committee of 29.10.1931 No 39/682) to provide people and organizations with solid fuel.

In accordance with the Charter the main objective of the activity of the enterprise is to make purchases and arrange sales of solid fuel for meeting fuel requirements residents, businesses and organizations of the city of Minsk.

 

The objectives of the organization include:

  •    sawing and chopping of wood;
  •    sawing and chopping of wood;
  •    manufacture of wooden containers;
  •    wholesale and retail trade in coal;
  •    wholesale and retail trade in peat;
  •    wholesale and retail trade in wood and wood processing products;
  •    work of road freight transport;
  •    storage and warehousing;
  •    leasing out of its own property.

To fulfill the set goals on the basis of the production facilities of the enterprise occupying an area of 4.3 hectares there is an access rail-track for unloading and storing up to 10 thousand tons of coal, storage facilities for storing 2 thousand tons of peat briquette, areas for storing up to 15 thousand linear meters of firewood.

The Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Fuel Trust of Minsk City Executive Committee” carries out cutting of firewood, loading and transportation of solid fuel to the customer. For this purpose the enterprise has a system of working with people and organizations on the principle of “single window”.

The machinery and equipment of the enterprise (TO-18 loaders, fork-lift trucks, GAZ-53 dump trucks, machines for cutting wood) make it possible to solve all the issues connected with the provision of consumers with solid fuel.

Every year the Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Fuel Trust of Minsk City Executive Committee” sells up to 5 thousand tons of coal, 5 thousand tons of peat briquette, 5 thousand linear meters of firewood (of which more than 3 thousand is cut on its own equipment).
There have been established the following rates of distribution of solid fuel among people at fixed prices: coal – 3 tons, or peat briquette – 4 tons, or firewood – 8 linear meters per household a year. As for people who live outside Minsk, they can get solid fuel at free market prices and in any quantity.
