The 11th session of Belarus-Moldova Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation will take place in Minsk on October 23-24, BelTA learnt from Igor Milidovich, councilor for trade and economic issues of the Belarusian embassy in Moldova. In his words, the event will be preceded by a session of the Belarusian part of the commission to consider the issues of the development of the Belarusian-Moldavian relations in different areas. One of the pivotal issues of the session will be a joint venture setting up by the Minsk and Chisinau Tractor Plants. The participants of the session will also consider the prospects of cooperation development between the two countries in the agricultural industry, energy, road service, automobile transport and other issues. The session will focus on the development of the regional trade and economic cooperation and mutual supplies expansion. Igor Milidovich said that the sides will discuss cooperation in the seed-growing area, supplies of the Belarusian farm machines and equipment to Moldova and a network of service centres development. The discussion of the regional cooperation will envisage the development of two or three-year programmes on cooperation area coordination. |
