27 November 2014 → Governor of St. Petersburg laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk
Today, the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in the Belarusian capital. According to the "Minsk-news" agency correspondent, the wreath-laying ceremony was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Andrey Domoratsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Alexander Surikov and members of the delegation of St. Petersburg.
It should be recalled that the delegation from St. Petersburg headed by its Governor Georgy Poltavchenko arrived in Minsk on a working visit on November 26. During the visit they are planning to sign a number of documents aimed at strengthening and enhancing bilateral ties.
