25 September 2017 → The Head of the Chechen Republic laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk
The Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, laid a wreath at the Monument in Victory Square on September 25, the "Minsk-Novosti" Agency correspondent reports.
On the platform near the obelisk R. Kadyrov was met by Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Igor Yurkevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Alexander Surikov.
The ceremony participants also laid flowers to the Eternal Flame honoring the memory of the fallen during the Great Patriotic War.
The delegation of the Chechen Republic under the leadership of the Head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov is on a visit to Belarus on September 25.
As it was earlier said by the Head of the Information Department, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Dmitry Mironchik, during the planned meetings with the leadership of Belarus actual issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as a number of promising areas of cooperation will be discussed in detail. In particular, the parties will focus their attention on deepening industrial cooperation, supplying Belarusian lorries, agricultural and passenger machinery to the Chechen Republic, intensifying cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, increasing supplies of food products and agricultural products, attracting Belarusian specialists to design and build facilities in the Chechen Republic and building up export of building materials.
