25 December 2019 → In 2021, the Days of Moscow will be held in Minsk
The Days of Moscow will be held in the Belarusian capital in 2021, and the Days of Minsk in Moscow - in 2022. Such an agreement was reached on December 24 as part of a meeting between the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Anatoly Sivak and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Elena Mokhor, Press Secretary of the Minsk City Executive Committee, told the "Minsk-Novosti" Agency correspondent.
Close cooperation between the two cities has been ongoing since 2012; since then in the capital of the Russian Federation Days of Minsk have been held on a regular basis, and in the capital of Belarus - Days of Moscow.
Minsk and Moscow actively interact in different areas: from trade and economic areas to social and cultural areas. Moscow takes the 2nd place in the total export of goods of Minsk enterprises to the Russian Federation.
For ten months of this year, trade between Minsk and Moscow increased by 4.5% and amounted to more than a billion dollars.
