20 September 2017 → Week of Belarusian cuisine starts on September 25
The week of Belarusian cuisine will be held for the 15th time from September 25 to October 1, the Minsk-News Agency correspondent was told in the Main Department of the Consumer Market of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
“It will be possible to taste dishes of national cuisine in 80 cafes and restaurants of the capital. All of them are different in type and format, but they are united by the idea of popularizing the national cuisine and developing culture of eating,” said the press secretary of the Main Department of the Consumer Market Yana Gurskaya. “The main difference of the jubilee Week of Belarusian cuisine will be in the number of dishes. There will be 6 of them. These are the most popular ones, which enjoyed the greatest demand among guests during all the previous weeks of national cuisine,” she added.
The dishes that Minsk citizens and guests of the capital will be offered:
chicken-roll with lightly salted cucumbers: 100/100/30/6 - 4 rub. 50 kopecks;
pumpkin soup with chicken and croutons: 300/30/15/1 - 3 rubles. 50 kopecks;
pastry with sauce and baked vegetables: 150/220/60/40/1 - 9 rubles. 50 kopecks;
meat roasted in a country style with pancakes: 200/150/30/1 - 8 rubles. 50 kopecks;
pastry made from cottage cheese with honey: 200/5/30 - 3 rubles. 50 kopecks;
cranberry juice: 200 ml - 1 ruble.
All dishes will be cooked according to the same recipes and will be sold at the same prices in all catering establishments participating in the project.
