21 November 2017 → Games of martial arts will gather in Minsk about 4 thousand athletes from 67 countries
The Seventh International Martial Arts Games will be held in Minsk from December 1 to 3, the "Minsk-Novosti" Agency correspondent was informed in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus.
Competitions will be held in 15 types of martial arts, including karate, aikido, taekwondo (non-Olympic version), wushu, sambo. Participation in them will be taken by about 4 thousand athletes from 67 countries. The fights will be held at four venues: “Chizhovka-Arena”, track and field athletics arena of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, the cycle track of “Minsk-Arena” and the Sports Palace “Uruchye”.
The opening ceremony of the games will be held on December 1 at the “Chizhovka-Arena” complex and will start at 18:00. The organizers of the event promise a bright show with the participation of leading martial arts masters.
