6 October 2019 → Virtual Reality Day to be held in Minsk on November 7
During the 26th Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad", which will be held in the capital from November 1 to 8, the "Industrial Platform" will be organized once again, the press service of the Festival told the "Minsk-Novosti" Agency correspondent.
The Industrial Platform will be held for the fifth time - from November 6 to 8.
"We continue the tradition of pitching (presentation of film projects). This is a real chance for local projects to get an assessment of professionals and win accreditation to the largest festival. As in previous years, we organize events in partnership with international educational programs. This year, among the new guests are representatives of the Bozar Arts Center in Brussels, which hosts the Bridges Festival, as well as representatives of the Grant Buro project, the first company in Russia to help get grants for any projects in the field of film production," said Patform Coordinator Lizaveta BOBRIKOVA .
On November 6–8, master classes will be held for creative teams from Belarus and Ukraine that are working on projects on the themes of cultural diversity, tolerance, integration, and peaceful coexistence. The creators of feature films and documentaries at the editing stage are invited to participate. On November 7, film presentations of debutants will be organized at the site of the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm".
The same day, the Day of Virtual Reality will be held. The program includes an immersive movie, workshops and a special guest from France, a representative of one of the most influential companies in the production and distribution of VR content.
